The young actor Nithiin was last seen playing the lead role in the romantic drama Rang De, in which he shared the screen space with national award winning actress Keerthy Suresh. Though the performance of Nithiin and Keerthy Suersh was applauded, the movie was a dud at the box office. But Rang De received decent response on its world television premiere on 20th June on the Zee Telugu channel. According to the latest report, Nithiin and Keerthy Suresh starrer Rang De has garnered 7.22 TV ratings in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, which is an impressive number.
The romantic drama Rang De tracks the bittersweet romantic relationship shared between Arjun and Anu essayed by Nithiin and Keerthy Suresh of Mahanati fame respectively. The romantic entertainer tracks how the duo’s deep-seated hatred from childhood turns into the love.
Rang De is backed by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banner of Sithara Entertainment and it has music by Devi Sri Prasad.
Nithin had two releases this year, Check and Rang De. He will be next seen playing the lead role in ‘Maestro’ which has Nabha Natesh and Tamannah Bhatia in the female lead role, but the movie will directly premiere on OTT platform. Maestro is a Telugu remake of Hindi film Andhadhun.
