Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi has multiple projects in Kitty and his much hyped movie Acharya is on the verge of the completion. The remake rights of hit movies are in demand in Telugu film industry. It is known that Tamil star Dhanush starrer action drama Asuran and Bollywood film Pink were remade in Telugu and became successful.
Now, Chiranjeevi, who is working on a few remakes, has set his eyes on yet another successful film of Tamil language. This time, Chiranjeevi is planning to remake Ajith starrer superhit movie Yennai Arindhal. The sources say that once the director is locked for the project, the regular shooting will be commenced.
The sources close to Chiranjeevi confirmed that Yennai Arindhaal would be remade in Telugu and Chiranjeevi would star in it. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy fame star has already acquired the remake rights of Yennai Arindhaal. The hunt for the right director is on to helm the Telugu remake. Chiranjeevi’ son and actor- producer Mega Power Star Ram Charan will be funding the project on their home banner of Konidela Productions.
On the otherside, Chiranjeevi is currently busy in Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer, which had Mohanlal, Vivek Oberoi and Manju Warrier, and Vedalam remake, which had Thala Ajith Kumar and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles.
