Venkatesh Daggubati is an introverted man who doesn’t speak much about his personal life. However, cinema runs in his blood. He is the son of noted filmmaker late Dr D Ramanaidu and his wife, Rajeswari. The middle of three children, Venkatesh has an elder brother Suresh Babu who is a famous producer in Telugu film Industry today and a younger sister Lakshmi, a housewife.
Venkatesh started his career in the Telugu action-drama Kaliyuga Pandavulu in the year 1986. It is known that several senior Telugu heroes are looking forward to remake the blockbuster movies. The reports are coming that the producer Suresh Babu, who is now holding rights to many Korean films and remaking them in Telugu, is now looking at some web series too. Venkatesh Daggubati who is very impressed with a Spanish series, is showing his interest.
The sources say that Suresh Babu is trying to acquire the rights of Spanish Series for his brother Venkatesh. If everything goes as per plan, Netflix will bankroll the series for Venkatesh. If not Suresh Babu himself will produce it.
On the work front, Venkatesh was last seen playing the lead role in action and revenge drama Narappa, which also has national award winning actress Priyamani.
