This is the first time, Young Rebel star Prabhas and Kriti Sanon are working together for a big budget drama Adipurush which is being directed by Om Raut of Tanhaji fame. Kriti Sanon is playing the role of Goddess Sita/ Janaki in Prabhas starrer Adipurush. Today Om Raut took to his social media to reveal that Kriti Sanon has wrapped up the shoot of her part for Adipurush.

Kriti Sanon also shared a post on Instagram where she said, “ I can not believe this journey has come to an end so soon! My heart sinks as I let go of this super special character that I am extremely proud to have played: JANAKI ! Her loving heart, her pious soul and her unshakable strength will somewhere stay within me forever!”

Kriti Sanon also thanked Om Raut for giving her the character of Janaki. The multilingual period saga is an adaptation of the Hindu epic Ramayana featuring Prabhas as Lord Ram and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh/ Ravana.   Prabhas starrer Adipurush is slated to be released in theatres on 11th August, 2022.

On the otherside, Kriti Sanon is currently awaiting the release of comedy drama Hum Do Hamare Do, which will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on 29th October.
