The current trend in Tollywood is OTT. Most of the movies that have not been seen in theaters are released on OTT. But there are still some movies that are only opening for OTT Thus, the fact that even the top heroes are making their OTT debut now is creating a sensation in Telugu.
Already the top heroes in the Tollywood, Kollywood and Bollywood are making movies for OTTs which is exciting among the Telugu people. Surya entertained the audience through a web series Navarasa. In Tollywood, Venkatesh also agreed to act in a web series directly. Samantha has already made her debut on OTT platform with The Family Man 2. Now the reports are coming that Megastar Chiranjeevi has rejected the offer to appear on OTT platforms for now.
The sources say that Chiranjeevi was offered a huge remuneration to appear in an upcoming web series that would be streamed on an OTT platform. But, Chiru did not show any interest and rejected the offer.
Currently Chiranjeevi is working for an upcoming social message oriented movie Achraya under the direction of Koratala Siva. The film also has Kajal Aggarwal, Pooja Hegde and Ram Charan in the important roles. He will also be appear in his upcoming movies ‘Godfather’ and ‘Bhola Shankar’.
