Few days ago, Manchu Vishnu took oath as the newly elected president of Tollywood’s influential trade body, Movie Artists Association – MAA, with his father, Telugu cinema’s veteran star, Mohan Babu, accompanying him. Manchu Vishnu sought everyone’s support in this journey after a hotly contested vote that had ended in the opposing panel led by Prakash Raj walking out of the association. Now according to the latest report, new MAA President Vishnu Manchu and his panel visited Tirumala today morning and offered special prayers to Lord Balaji. Mohan Babu and Manchu Vishnu’ sister Lakshmi Manchu also offered the special prayers to Lord Venkateswara.
After the visit, Manchu Vishnu interacted with media and when he was asked about the resignation letters from Prakash Raj’s panel members, to which he replied, “I have not received their resignation letters yet. I only came to know about their resignations through the media. I will inform everyone when I get the resignation letters.
Prakash Raj and his panel members, who had resigned from their respective positions after the elections, skipped the oath-taking ceremony of Manchu Vishnu.
On the otherside, Prakash Raj alleged the foul play in the MAA elections, he has sought CCTV footage from the election officer.
