The MAA elections are done and according to the results, Manchu Vishnu has been the new president of Telugu Movie Artists Association -MAA. It was Manchu Vishnu who had grabbed the Main officer bearer post. Manchu Vishnu is elected president of Movie Artistes Association- MAA in a fierce contest between the panels headed by Vishnu and Prakash Raj on Sunday. Manchu Vishnu defeated Prakash Raj.

Manchu Vishnu Panel bagged 4 posts of office bearers comprising general secretary Y Raghubabu, joint secretary Gautam Raju, vice-president Madala Ravi, and treasurer M Siva Balaji. Raghu Babu defeated Jeevitha Rajasekhar by 7 votes to become general secretary whereas Srikanth of Prakash Raj panel defeated Babu Mohan for the post of executive vice president.
Other winners in Prakash Raj panel were Banerjee as the second vice-president and Uttej as joint secretary.
Few actors Superstar Mahesh Babu, Young Rebel Star Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Young Tiger Jr NTR, Venkatesh Daggubati, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, Stylish Star Allu Arjun and Allu Sirish, Ravi Teja, Vijay Devarakonda, Anushka Shetty, Rakul Preet, Iliana, Trisha, Hansika and Niharika did not cast the vote for MAA elections.
