The young producer, Young Tiger Jr NTR and his brother Kalyan Ram’s PRO, Mahesh Koneru, passed away following a massive cardiac arrest. He took his last breath today. Mahesh Koneru,, who was in his late 30s, is survived by his parents, wife and a little daughter. His sudden demise has come as a huge shock to the South Indian film industry.
Mahesh Koneru started off his journey as a film journalist and later he launched his own PRO agency along with his friend Vamsi. He worked as PRO for brother- Jr NTR and Kalyan Ram. He was also the publicist for several popular movies, including the Baahubali series, Kanche and Jr NTR and Kalyan Ram starrer movies.
Mahesh Koneru is also known for producing the movies for 118, Naa Nuvve, Miss India and the recently released courtroom drama, Thimmarasu. He was also one the distributors. He is known for distributing Kollywood star Vijay starrer Bigil and Master in Telugu.
His last tweet was about Rajamouli’ magnum opus RRR in which Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran and Ajay Devgn are playing the lead roles.
The media persons and celebrities from Telugu Film Industry have expressed their shock and paid condolences.
