Samantha is currently on a short trip. On 20th October, Samantha and her friend Shilpa Reddy went to Rishikesh for holidaying. Apart from visiting the Ganges, Sam and Shilpa decided to go on the Char Dham yatra on a helicopter. Shilpa Reddy took to Instagram to share pic of her with Samantha Ruth Prabhu from their Char Dham yatra and came up with an interesting caption: Take off !!!! first to Yamunotri.
Coming on the pic, Samantha looks cute in a bright purple churidar whereas Shilpa Shetty is seen in a shirt and trousers.
On 2nd October, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya released a statement about mutually parting ways. The statement read, ” After much deliberation and thought Samantha and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was very core of our relationship, which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thanking you for your support.”
On the work front recently Samantha signed a Tamil-Telugu bilingual film with debutant director.
