Andhra Exhibitors accept Online Ticketing Portal

Andhra Pradesh Cine Exhibitors welcome online ticketing system in AP State. Information and Public Relations Minister Perni Venkataramaiah – Perni Nani had a meeting with exhibitors on the issues of online policy and  the theaters. Theater owners of West Godavari, Guntur and Krishna districts also attended the meeting. There are about three hundred theaters in these three districts and the exhibitors agreed with AP government’s decision on the online ticketing policy.  This was the second meeting with Minister after the AP Cabinet had approved for  the certain amendments were made to AP Cinematography Act recently.

The producer and exhibitor Ambika  Krishna interacted with the media  after the meeting and welcomed the decision of Andhra Pradesh government to launch an online ticket portal, and said that they  have accepted the proposal of Andhra Pradesh government to bring in a portal.

The  AP government is arranging meetings with exhibitors on the implementation of the new policy and the collaboration of theaters.

On the otherside, the exhibitors have requested government to hike the ticket prices with immediate effect and the same should reflect on the online ticketing portal.

Last month several celebs from Telugu film Industry  met Perni Nani at the AP Secretariat. Dil Raju along with other producers spoke on various issues related to Tollywood, especially on the online tickets platform.
