Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer upcoming action drama Bholaa Shankar has been launched in a grand manner this morning in Hyderabad. The upcoming film is a remake of Tamil blockbuster drama Vedhalam in which Thala Ajith played the lead role. Chiranjeevi graced the launch event of Bholaa Shankar in Ayyappa mala and performed special prayers. K Raghavendra Rao sounded the first clap. The lunch event was attended by the directors VV Vinayak, Gopichand Malineni and Harish Shankar, music composer Manisharma, and others.
In this actioner, Chiranjeevi will be seen sharing the screen space with milky siren Tamannah Bhatia. This is the second time when Chiru will share the screen with Tamannah. The two previously worked in the historic drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.
Meher Ramesh is on the board to helm this remake, which is bankrolled by Anil Sunkara. Bholaa Shankar also has national award winning actress Keerthy Suresh and she is playing Chiranjeevi’ sister in this drama. Bholaa Shankar’s story is set in Kolkata and the major part of the shoot will take place in the iconic city.
Meanwhile Chiranjeevi who has started the shoot of Godfather, is also waiting for the release of Acharya which has Kajal Aggarwal in the female lead role whereas Ram Charan and Pooja Hegde in the important roles.
