Pragya Jaiswal who is known for playing the female lead in Kirsh’ directorial venture Kanche, is waiting for the release of action drama Akhanda in which she is sharing the screen space with Balakrishna. Pragya will be seen as an IAS officer in Boyapati Srinu’ directorial venture. Recently during an interview, the actress talked about her movie, role and working experience with Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu.
Akhanda girl said, “I am playing a bureaucrat for the first time and it is a different kind of look. I am really excited to see how the movie lovers will see my role.” Pragya Jaiswal also said that she said yes to Akhanda on the trust of Boyapati Srinu as she previously played a cameo role in his movie Jaya Janaki Nayaka which was released in 2018.
Pragya added, “This time when Boyapati Srinu told me the story, it was just a brief narration. He said come meet me, let’s do the narration and started shooting. It was just mutual trust, respect and faith I had in him.”
When she was asked about Balakrishna, to which she replied,” The first day when I was walking on the sets, I was nervous but the moment I met him for the first time, I came to know that he is just so easy going and comfortable. And in a second all the nervousness disappeared”.
