Akhanda marks the third collaboration of Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Sreenu after blockbusters Simha and Legend, which is bankrolled by Miryala Ravinder Reddy of Dwaraka Creations whereas the music is composed by Thaman. Pragya Jaiswal is sharing the screen space with Nandamuri Balakrishna in this film which has Srikanth in the role of a villain.
As the movie is gearing up for the grand release the makers of Akhanda are planning to organize a grand pre release event in the noted city of Andhra Pradesh. Soon the official announcement regarding the date and venue of Akhanda Pre release event will be out.
C Ram Prasad is handling the cinematography work and Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao is taking care of the editing. Jagapati Babu is playing a significant role in Akhanda. Once again Balakrishna will make his screen presence in dual avatar. In one of the roles, he is playing an aghora.
On the work front, Nandamuri Balakrishna also has a yet to be titled drama with Krack fame director director Gopichand Malineni in the pipeline. Recently, the actor made his OTT debut with Aha’s talk show Unstoppable with NBK. The first episode of the show featured Mohan Babu, Vishnu Manchu and Lakshmi Manchu, while the 2nd episode hosted Nani.
