It is known that Deepika Padukone is playing girl girlfriend of Young Rebel star Prabhas in an upcoming film Project K, which is touted to be a science fiction drama and is helmed by Nag Ashwin who is known for directing Mahanati. Today Deepika Padukone is celebrating her birthday. On this occasion, Samantha Ruth Prabhu sent the birthday wishes to Prabhas’ on screen girlfriend, Deepika Padukone.
Samantha wrote, “May you have such an incredible birthday that everyday afterwards starts and ends with love and peace of mind.”
Project K marks Padmaavat fame Deepika Padukone’s first film with Prabhas, who is best known for the Baahubali duology. It also stars Big B aka Amitabh Bachchan in a crucial role.
Last year Amitabh Bachchan gave the muhurat shot of the film. Prabhas shared a picture from the sets and gave Amitabh Bachchan the title of “Guru of Indian Cinema.”
Earlier about Deepika Padukone, Nag Ashwin had said, “I am very excited to see Deepika play this character. It is something no mainstream lead has done before and will be quite a surprise for everyone. The pairing of Deepika and Prabhas will be one of the main highlights of the film.”
Meanwhile Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer Shaakuntalam is currently in the post production stage.
