The Instagram account of Megha Akash which has over 690k followers have been taken over by hackers. Her profile details and display picture of account have been modified by the hackers.
Her profile name has been changed to Russian DJ Damla Ekmekçioglu. Photographs which were uploaded by Megha Akash have been deleted and DJ Damla’s pics have been uploaded.
The sources say that Megha hasn’t filed any complaint against this activity of the hackers. But she took to her twitter to reveal that her Instagram account has been hacked. She wrote, “Instagram hacked! Kindly please ignore all the messages and random things! My backend team working on it.. will retrieve it asap…Thank you”
Mega Akash made her Telugu debut with Lie, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara under their 14 Reels Entertainment. In this film she shared the screen space with young actor Nithiin. Later once again Megha Akash teamed up with Nithiin for romantic comedy movie Chal Mohan Ranga, in 2018, directed by Krishna Chaitanya and produced by Sudhakar Reddy along with Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas.
This is not the first time an actress from South Indian Film Industry has been a victim of cyber-crime. British Bombshell Amy Jackson, Kamal Haasan’s daughter Akshara Haasan and Hansika Motwani have been affected in recent times.
On the work side, Mega Akash will be next seen in upcoming movies- Boomerang, Satellite Shankar, Enai Noki Paayum Thota, Oru Pakka Kathai, which are in different production stage.
