The Los Angeles-based Dani Sanchez Lopez visits India often to teach cinematography and was contacted by director Nag Ashwin who felt Dani Sanchez Lopez would capture the life of South Indian legendary actress Savitri well. The colour palette changed as we moved through Savitri’s life in Mahanati. They begin with earthy greens and browns to show the village life Savitri came from village. Once she moved to the city, the colours bloomed into warmer pinks, oranges and yellows and reds.
Mahanati starring Keerthy Suresh, Samantha Akkineni, Dulquer Salmaan and Vijay Deverakonda starrer was emerged as one of hit movies at the box office. The look and performance of Keerthy Suresh, the cinematography of Dani Sanchez Lopez , Micky J Meyer’s music, Naga Ashwin’s direction and screenplay were highlighted.
As the makers are very happy with the work of Mahanati cinematographer Dani Sanchez-Lopez, he approached his for Keerthy Suresh starrer upcoming untitled film, to thrill the audiences. The film is produced by Mahesh Koneru. The first schedule will be started in Hyderabad from 10th February and later the team will move to Kerala.
Keerthy Suresh was last seen in AR Murugadoss’s directorial venture – the political thriller drama Sarkar in which Vijay played the lead role. The movie was turned out blockbuster at the box office. Now it is heard that once again Spyder fame director has roped Keerthy Suresh in his upcoming film, in which Kollywood susperstar Rajinikanth will play the lead role.
Meanwhile Keethy Suresh is busy in her upcoming Malayalam movie Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham.
