Yatra Premieres Collections: What are your expectations?

Yatra Premieres Collections: After NTR Kathanayakudu, the biopic of later Chief Minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR),  starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and Vidya Balan, Telugu film industry is waiting with bated breath to catch the second biopic release of the year, Yatra.  Yatra, which is about the padayatra of the late Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh, YS Rajasekhar Reddy, has hit the theaters today on 8th February.  There are high expectations associated with Yatra as it is starring the Malayalam Megastar Mammootty in the lead role. According to the traders report,  Yatra has collected 25,919 from 77 locations from its premieres.

 The trade Analayst Jeevi has shared the latest collections figure of Yatra on his Twitter, “Hourly gross for #Yatra premieres at 8:30 am PST in USA on 7 February is $25,919 from 77 locations with per loc average of $337. What are your expectations?”

Mammootty is essaying  the role of Y S Rajasekhar Reddy, who was the former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and also a Congress leader. Two-film old director Mahi V Raghav helmed Yatra, a biopic of a heavyweight politician  YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Mahi V Raghav has already proved himself at the box office with Taapsee Pannu starrer Anando Brahma.

 NTR Mahanayakudu was also scheduled to hit the theaters today on 8th February but as the makers do not want to compete with Yatra, they decided to postpone their movie.  If Yatra’s talk comes positive, the movie will do good business at the box office.
