Kamma Rajyam Lo Kadapa Reddlu postponed due to Censor Issue

A few days ago, the controversial filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV made an official announcement regarding the release date of his directorial venture Kamma Rajyam Lo Kadapa Reddlu and officially confirmed that the movie will be released on 29th November. But now according to the latest update, the release of Kamma Rajyam Lo Kadapa Reddlu has been postponed and now the movie will be released a week later.

The reason behind the postponement of RGV’ Kamma Rajyam Lo Kadapa Reddlu is said to be the Censor issue. The makers submitted the movie Kamma Rajyam Lo Kadapa Reddlu to the censor board at the last minute for the certification. The sources say that though Ram Gopal Varma also approached the court for the fast-track the Censor process. But the Supreme court ordered the censor board to look at the film carefully within a week

Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV’ directorial venture Kamma Rajyam Lo Kadapa Reddlu revolves around the politics of Andhra Pradesh. Written by Ram Gopal Varma, the movie is said to be based on recent political developments in Andhra Pradesh. Ajmal Amir of Rangam fame is playing the role of Andhra Pradesh’ Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy in the movie. This is not the first time the actor Ajmal Amir played the CM on-screen. He was seen as a Chief Minister in Rangam, starring Jiiva, Piaa Bajpai and Karthika Nair.

Kamma Rajyam Lo Kadapa Reddlu has the music by Ravi Shankar while Suresh Varma handled the cinematography department. Anwar Ali handled the editing.

Though Ram Gopal Varma opted to change the title to ‘Amma Rajyamlo Kadapa Biddalu’, but he did not announce it officially and released an item song titled ‘Dandam’ from the film recently.

On the other side, Ajmal Amir has already signed for a horror-thriller drama , Second Show helmed by A T Gnanam and produced by Darkroom Creations. Apart from him, the film also Pallavi Subash, Ashudha Sonavane, Pooja Mandle, Vidya and Black Pandi.
