The sources close to the film unit revealed that Pooja Hegde is looking completely different from her earlier films. Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava fame Pooja Hegde will be seen trendy and in a completely new avatar in Akhil Akkineni starrer, which is being bankrolled by Bunny Vaas under Geetha Arts 2 banner. The upcoming untitled film marks her first collaboration with Akhil Akkineni who is looking for a career-defining hit.
Currently the shoot is taking place at NIFT, and the makers are canning important scenes on the lead pair, Akhil Akkineni and Pooja Hgede. The sources say that Pooja Hegde wore casuals in Mahesh Babu starrer Maharshi, directed by Vamsi Paidipally and had a traditional look in Allu Arjun starrer DJ. But in Akhil Akkineni starrer, Pooja Hegde is going to trend with a more glamorous look. Apparently, Bommarillu Bhasker was initially doubtful about Pooja Hegde’ performance, but she appears to have laid all their fears to rest.
Pooja Hegde is playing a strong, yet matured role that drives the story from beat to beat, through conflict to resolution. Akhil Akkineni will be seen in his real self – in a soft and restrained avatar with a stylish makeover in the film. The chemistry between Akhil and Pooja Hegde is said to be one of the major highlights of Bommarillu Bhasker’ directorial venture.
On the otherside, Pooja Hegde will also be seen sharing the screen space with Baahubali and Mirchi star Prabhas in Radha Krishna Kumar’ directorial venture ‘Jaan’ and the film’s next schedule will commence soon in a specially erected European city set in Ramoji Film City. Currently she is busy in her upcoming much hyped drama Ala Vaikuntapuramloo starring Stylish Star Allu Arjun.
