Manju Warrier who won millions of heart with her performance in Dhanush starrer revenge drama Asuran, has lent a helping hand to the transgender community in Kerala in these difficult times as the actress donated the money to buy essential groceries and food items. Malayalam girl Manju Warrier has given financial aid to transgender community, which could support food requirements of 50 people for a few days amid lockdown. Celebrity makeup artist Renju Renjimar took to her social media handle and showered the praises for the actress.
The sources say that Manju Warrier has donated Rs. 35,000, which could support about 50 people. It has also come out that Manju Warrier has even offered financial support of Rs 5 lakh for the daily wage workers in the film industry, who cannot meet their daily needs due to the cancellation of shoots of several films.
Transgender activist Soorya Ishan revealed about Manju Warrier’ gesture through her Youtube channel. Soorya Ishan said she was making this video to talk about a person who had helped them, realizing that transgender people too are humans. She revealed that Manju Warrier is one of the actress who involves in lots of humanitarian and charitable works.
Apart from Manju Warrier, other actors such as Mohanlal and Allu Arjun reportedly have donated money for the daily wage earners.
