In the wake of coronavirus pandemic, actors from Telugu film Industry are digging deep into their pockets and contributing huge amounts for the relief measures carried out by both the Central and State governments to combat the deadly Coronavirus.  Several celebrities from Tollywood, Kollywood and Bollywood are generously contributing huge donations to the governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and providing the relief for the film industry workers in the Coronavirus times.  The creative and talented film maker Sukumar is one of them, who announced a donation of Rs 10 lakhs to both the Telugu states – Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Now only this, Sukumar has also announced a donation of another Rs 5 Lakhs to his native place Mattaparru in Malikipuram, East Godavari district.

Sukumar requested everyone to come forward and donate for their hometowns. Rangasthalam director  also requested everyone to stay home to stay safe and prevent the spread of the deadly virus.

The young actor Nithiin was amongst the first actors from Telugu Film Industry to make a donation of Rs 10 lakh each to  Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Chief Minister Relief funds respectively. However, after Jana Sena Chief and actor Pawan Kalyan donated a massive sum of Rs 2 crore, later several actors like Ram Charan, Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR, Prabhas and Allu Arjun came forward and announced their donations.

 On the work front, Sukumar is getting ready to start the shoot of his upcoming directorial venture starring Allu Arjun and  Rashmika Mandanna.
