Poojitha Ponnada is well known face for the Telugu people as she has played the crucial role in Mega Power Star Ram Charan starrer village based drama Rangasthalam and Dr Rajasekhar starrer investigative thriller movie Kalki. Now according to the latest update, Poojitha Ponnada has been roped in an upcoming film which is tentatively titled Virupaksha, in which Power Star Pawan Kalyan is playing the lead role.
Pawan Kalyan is making his comeback in the acting field with courtroom drama Vakeel Saab and apart from this film, he is also working in the direction of Kanche and Gauthamiputra Satakarani fame Krish for the movie Virupaksha.
The sources say that Poojitha Ponnada gave her nod without thinking twice when Krish approached her and she will be seen shaking her leg for an item song in Pawan Kalyan starrer. The song might just take Poojitha’ career to the next level.
Apparently, the item song was shot recently before the lockdown started. A lavish set was erected for this special song at a studio in Hyderabad.
Virupaksha is touted as a period action drama, set in the backdrop of the Moghul India. Pawan Kalyan is said to be playing a Robinhood like character in this film, which is being bankrolled by AM Rathanam.
