Young Tiger Jr NTR starrer movie Simhadri completed 17 years as the movie was released on 9th July 2003. The movie helmed by SS Rajamouli also has Bhoomika Chawla, and Ankitha in lead roles.
Simhadri is the second directorial outing of Baahubali film maker SS Rajamouli. The success of the film brought the director into the top league of filmmakers. The movie is considered as a landmark film in Young Tiger Jr NTR’ career as the actor achieved superstardom with the film. The film Simhadri also showcased his acting prowess. It was Rajamouli’ second outing with Jr NTR. The director’s debut outing, Student No 1, was also a hit film and was with Jr NTR. And the duo later went on to record a hat trick of successes with blockbuster Yamadonga in 2007.
Jr NTR and Rajamouli’ film created several records upon its release and it went on to run more than 100 days in 150 cinemas. Later the movie remade in Tamil as Gajendra in 2004 and in Kannada as Kanteerava in 2012.
Jr NTR’ fans are now trending #17YearsForIHSimhadri to celebrate the occasion.
Meanwhile once again SS Rajamouli and Jr NTR are working together for a movie RRR, which also has Alia Bhatt, Ram Charan and Ajay Devgn.
