Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan have been diagnosed with the deadly novel coronavirus. Both Father and Son duo are admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital. This news is confirmed by Amitabh Bachchan himself on social media.
Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Sarkar fame Amitabh Bachchan revealed, “I have tested Covid-19 positive, shifted to Hospital and the hospital informing authorities. The family and staff undergone tests , the results are awaited. The people who have been in close proximity to me in the last ten days are requested to please get themselves tested for Coronavirus !”
Now the reports are coming that Jaya Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and other staff members’ coronavirus antigen test came negative, while the report of swab test is still awaited.
While Nanavati is now mainly a Covid-19 hospital, Bachchan family has been visiting it over the years for his routine checkups. His family doctor is a consultant in the Nanavati hospital.
Soon after the news regarding Amitabh Bachchan’ covid-19 testing, broke online, the fans and film fraternity have flooded the internet with ‘get well soon’ wishes.
On the work front, Abhishek Bachchan starrer debut digital web-show ‘Breathe’ season 2 released on the OTT platform. Recently he was seen visiting the dubbing studio in Andheri, Mumbai.
