It is known news that Samantha Akkineni is making her debut in the digital world with web series The Family Man 2, in which Manoj Bajpayee is playing the lead role. Oh Baby and Majili fame Samantha Akkineni is going to be seen in a negative role in second season of Amazon Prime Video’s hit web series ‘Family Man’. The second season is expected to release in September or October. The sources revealed that Samantha Akkineni will be seen playing the role of a sleeper cell who works for the terrorists in Pakistan.
Though Samantha will make her screen presence in negative roles but news is that there will be an emotional backstory for her character which is the main reason why Samantha accepted it. The makers said that Samantha gave a terrific performance in this season. The actress will be gaining a lot of fame in North too after this series – The Family Man 2 releases.
The sources close to makers said, “Manoj Bajpayee is dubbing for his portions in Mumbai, whereas Rangasthalam beauty Samantha Akkineni is doing it from Hyderabad. Filmmakers Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK are constantly in touch with Manoj and Samantha through Zoom calls, and are also fast tracking the other post production functions as much as possible.”
