Recently on the occasion of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s birthday, the makers of Akhanda unveiled a new poster from the movie, where Balayya Babu was seen in a celebratory mode. In April, on the occasion of Ugadi, the makers had announced the title with a special teaser cut. Lion and Simha fame Balakrishna was presented as an aggressive man who is a devotee of Lord Shiva. This is the third time, Balakrishna is working with Boyapati Srinu who is known for making action dramas.
The movie is carrying decent buzz among the movie lovers. Balakrishna will be seen in a dual role and in one of the role, he will make his screen presence as aghora. Initially, the movie Akhanda was for a release on 28th May but due to the second wave of the Coronavirus, the makers dropped the plan. Now it is being heard that the makers are planning to bring Balakrishna starrer Akhanda to theatres in the month of September on the eve of Vinayaka Chaturthi.
The sources close to the makers revealed that Akhanda will release on 10th September, on the occasion of Vinayak Chaturthi.
The film unit will resume shooting of Akhanda in July first week. The major part of the shoot has been already wrapped up and the entire shoot will be completed in this new schedule. Later the team will start the post production work of Akhanda.
Pragya Jaiswal is playing the female lead and Srikanth will be seen in the role of a villain.
