Arzoo Govitrikar is a known face for the Telugu people as she made her debut in Telugu film industry with the movie Manasutho in 2002, which was helmed by AS Ravikumar and is produced by Venigalla Ananda Prasad. She is also known for acting in TV show- Naagin 2. In a shocking turn of events, actress Arzoo Govitrikar has filed for divorce from husband Siddharth Sabharwal, alleging domestic violence accusations against him.
The TV actress Aarzoo Govitrikar, who is Aditi Govitrikar’s sister, had filed a complaint of domestic violence against Siddharth back on 19th February, 2019, and she had revealed that when she had a fight with her husband over his alcohol habit, he dragged her to the bathroom and hit her.
During an interview, Aarzoo said, “I have filed for divorce. Enough is enough and I am not going to take this lying down anymore. Siddharth first raised his hand on me two years after our marriage. I want to tell that he has pulled me by my neck and tried to throw me out of the flat. He has slapped me and he has kicked me in my stomach.
There were days when I was beaten up black and blue and I could not come out because I did not want my bruises to be seen.” She added that her husband hurled casteist abuses at her.
