We have already reported that the Telugu remake of Prithviraj’s Lucifer, starring megastar Chiranjeevi has been titled Godfather and the upcoming action drama will be directed by Mohan Raja. The movie was initially referred to as Chiru 153 and the title look poster of the project was revealed on the occasion of Chiru’ birthday. The regular shoot of Godfather will commence very soon. Currently the team is busy in the finalization of the remaining cast and crew. If ongoing buzz in the media and the film industry are to be believed, Malayalam actor Biju Menon will play a negative role in Chiranjeevi and Mohan Raja’ film Godfather. The reports are coming that Biju Menon will reprise the role of Vivek Oberoi from the original version.
If everything goes as per plan, and Biju Menon gives his green signal for Chiranjeevi starrer Godfather, the upcoming project will mark his debut in Telugu cinema.
Biju Menon is a popular actor of Malayalam film industry who made his debut in 1995 in Puthran. In a career spanning over two decades, he has appeared in over 150 movies.
It is also being heard that Bollywood actor Salman Khan will play a cameo in Chiranjeevi’ upcoming drama.
