Megastar Chiranjeevi received a call from Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.   AP CM is planning a meeting with Chiranjeevi next week.  The State minister Perni Nani personally telephoned  Megastar on behalf of Jagan Mohan Reddy.  The meeting will take place in the last week of August. Perni Nani urged Chiru to meet Jagan along with Tollywood bigwigs and discuss the various issues pertaining to the  Telugu film industry.

Last year in the month of May, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy star thanked CM Jagan for making life easier for the people in the business of making movies by granting single window permission to film movies. Megastar Chiranjeevi had  tweeted to thank Andhra Pradesh for passing this new rule, as he had said, “Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Shri YS Jagan. On behalf of the industry, I thanked them on the phone for releasing the Single Window Permissions Jio along with decisions that would benefit the film industry.”

In past , King Nagarjuna, SS Rajamouli, Chiranjeevi, Suresh Babu and others met with the AP CM and discussed several issues that were plaguing the Tollywood due to the coronavirus.

On the work front, Chiranjeevi will be seen playing the lead role in Acharya  which is  on the verge of completion.
