Karthi is one of the popular actors of Kollywood. He found success in the show business much quicker than his elder brother Suriya. And his acting career in the film industry has been on a steady upward arc since.
Yes, there has been a handful of disappointments along the way as have been successes. After an Alex Pandian, he delivered Madras in 2014, which was a superhit film in the Tamil film Industry. It is a political drama in which Catherine Tresa played the female lead under the direction of Pa Ranjith.
Madras was Pa Ranjith’ second directorial venture. The Telugu dubbed version of the film Madras with the same title was supposed to get released in 2014 itself. But due to the reasons, the makers have canceled the film. Now according to the latest report, after a long gap of 7 years, Karthi starrer Madras is now going to be released in Tollywood.
The makers have already launched the first look poster of the film and revealed that it will be released in the month of September.
