Karthik Subbaraj is a popular director, writer and producer who is known for his work in Tamil cinema. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Karthik Subbaraj is currently working for Mega Power Star Ram Charan starrer upcoming drama RC15 which is helmed by Shankar of 2.0 and Robo fame.
RC15 is a political action drama. Shankar has earlier attempted political dramas and his film with Charan will have mass political flavor. The sources close to the Kollywood film industry revealed that Karthik Subbaraj has been involved in the development of film’ story of Ram Charan starrer RC15.
Karthik Subbaraj is known for his directorial ventures Pizza, Jigarthanda, Petta, Putham Pudhu Kaalai, Navarasa and Mercury. This is the first time, he is working with Shankar for a project. The makers of RC15 have already confirmed that Kabir Singh and Vinaya Vidheya Rama fame Kiara Advani will be playing the female lead and the love interest of Ram Charan in this film which will be bankrolled by Dil Raju.
The reports are coming that Pushpa villain Fahadh Faasil will play the role of villain in Shankar’ directorial venture. The major portions of the film will be shot in Hyderabad and Shankar is determined to wrap up the film RC15 by early next year.
