In the year 2015, Tamil film Vedalam starring Thala Ajith Kumar created a storm at the box-office. It is known that Vedalam is being remade in Tollywood and Megastar Chiranjeevi will play the lead role.
The reports are coming that national award winning actress Keerthy Suresh has given her nod to play the role of Chiranjeevi’ sister in the film. Keerthy Suresh is one of the highest paid actress of South Indian film Industry and now it is being heard that she has hiked her remuneration for Chiranjeevi starrer upcoming Telugu film – Vedalam remake, which will be directed by Meher Ramesh.
Apparently, Mahanati fame Keerthy Suresh demanded a whopping Rs 3 crore to play the role of sister in the high budget action entertainer. The upcoming film is based on brother-sister sentiment. With Megastar Chiranjeevi and Keerthy Suresh in this remake, we cannot expect anything less than a blockbuster. A few days back, there was a buzz that Fidaa and Middle Class Abbayi fame Sai Pallavi might have some crucial role to play in the remake. But nothing is confirmed yet.
Keerthy Suresh was last seen playing the female lead in the romantic drama Rang De in which Nithiin played the lead role.
