Television host turned actor Anasuya Bharadwaj is currently working for the multi-lingual movie Pushpa after she was roped in by the makers to play a prominent role in the movie. Pushpa marks Anasuya Bharadwaj’ second film with director Sukumar after the village based drama Rangasthalam. The shooting for the film is reportedly taking place amid strict COVID-19 safety protocol in place. Currently the makers are canning crucial scenes on Anansya. A pic of Anasuya Bharadwaj from the sets of Pushpa got leaked and went viral on the social media.
Pushpa has Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead role, and has Fahadh Faasil playing the antagonist whereas Jagapathi Babu and Prakash Raj will be seen in the crucial roles. Allu Arjun will be essaying the role of Pushpa Raj in the movie. The movie is based on red sandalwood smuggling, will be released in two parts in five languages including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
The sources say that part one of Pushpa, The Rise will be showcasing the manner in which Allu Arjun’ character Pushpa Raj rises from a small town smuggler to a don of the red sandalwood world. The first single of Pushpa will be out this 13th of August.
