Satyadev Kancharana is known for playing the lead roles in ‘Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya’ and ‘Thimmarusu’. He is carving a name for himself by playing different roles and delivering winning performances. Currently he has a number of projects in his kitty and one of them is Telugu film which is a remake of Malayalam drama Lucifer in which Megastar Chiranjeevi will play the lead role. Satyadev has been gradually stamping his authority as a versatile actor in Tollywood who can slip into any role, be it a lead actor, character artist or antagonist. Directed by Mohan Raja, Godfather starring Chiranjeevi is the Telugu remake of Lucifer. We have already reported that lady superstar Nayanthara has been roped in and she will be seen in the role of Megastar Chiranjeevi’ sister and the wife of Satyadev.
Satyadev is reprising Vivek Vivek Oberoi’s role from the original whereas Nayanthara will play his wife. Lucifer’s Telugu remake is set to mark Nayanthara and Chiru’ second collaboartion as they earlier appeared together in historic and war drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. The film Godfather would not be similar from scene to scene to the original film as Chiranjeevi asked the director Mohan Raja to tweak the script.
On the otherside, Darbar fame Nayanthara recently wrapped up her shoot for Annaatthe starring Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth.
