Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas  starrer  Rakshasudu, helmed by Ramesh Varma was a decent hit at the box office and it was bankrolled by Koneru Satyanarayana. We have already reported that Koneru Satyanarayana is now producing a big-budget movie called ‘Khiladi’  in which Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is playing the lead role. Recently the producer Koneru Satyanarayana announced ‘Rakshasudu -2’, which will be  made on a pan-India level with a huge budget of 100 Crand with a popular hero. Once again the upcoming drama will be helmed by Ramesh Varma. We have already reported that Rakshasudu is going to Bollywood. Akshay Kumar is on the board to play the main lead role in this Rakshasudu remake. Now according to the latest report,   the makers of Rakshasudu Hindi remake roped in Rakul Preet Singh as the leading lady and she will reprise the role of Anupama Parameswaran.

The remake is being made on a low budget and  the makers are planning to wrap up the entire shoot in one month. The reports are coming that Rakul Preet Singh will join the sets from the next week.

Ramesh Varma, the director who remade Rakshasudu in Telugu, is helming this Bollywood remake starring Akshay Kumar and Rakul Preet Singh.
