Young Rebel star Prabhas and Filmmaker Prashanth Neel of KGF fame are coming up with an underworld action thriller Salaar, which has Shruti Haasan as the leading lady. The makers of Salaar have already confirmed that the movie will release theatrically on 14th April 2022. Now according to the latest report, the team of Salaar is erecting a massive set that will feature the home of main villain. The makers are also planning to shoot few crucial scenes on Prabhas on this set and they are spending huge amount for sets.
Billed as a Pan Indian project, Salaar is produced by Hombale Films. The first look poster of Salaar was released in December last year, and it received a great response from the movie lovers. The first look shows Prabhas sporting a moustache and placing his left hand on an assault rifle.
It is said that Prabhas will be seen in dual role. He will be seen as a father and son in this film. Apparently, this is the story of vengeance set in the mafia world. This is not the first time Baahubali star playing a dual role.
Apart from Salaar, Prabhas will also be seen in Nag Ashwin’s multilingual sci-fi film tentatively titled Project K co-starring Deepika Padukone, Om Raut’s magnum opus Adipurush and romantic-drama Radhe Shyam, helmed by Radha Krishna Kumar.
