It is known that Nag Ashwin of Mahanati fame is currently working with Young Rebel star Prabhas for an upcoming film tentatively titled Project K, which has Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone as the leading lady. Recently there was a strong buzz in the film industry that Samantha Akkineni will also be seen playing a crucial role in Prabhas and Nag Ashwin’ Project K. Finally Samantha Akkineni opened up about this project.
Rangasthalam and U Turn fame Samantha Akkineni busted the rumor by saying that she does not know how this rumor has emerged. Samantha added, “But I will be glad to become part of Prabhas’ Project K.” According to her, she is going to message the director Nag Ashwin as she wants to ask him why he has not cast her or what he’s going to do with her for his directorial venture.
According to the Oh Baby actress, the makers of Project K haven’t approached her for any role in the film. Finally she put an end about her inclusion to the series of speculations about Project K
On the otherside, Samantha is currently working with Gunasekhar for the big budget mythological drama Shaakuntalam where she is playing the titular character.
