Yesterday the director Gautham Vasudev Menon took to social media to announce the new title and reveal the first look poster of his upcoming movie in which Silambarasan TR aka Simbu is playing the lead role. The announcement regarding this film Vendhu Thaninthathu Kaadu came as a surprise to fans since the film was previously titled Nadhigalilae Neeradum Suriyan. The movie Vendhu Thaninthathu Kaadu is expected to go on floors in Tiruchendur, Tamil Nadu.
Coming on the first look poster of Vendhu Thaninthathu Kaadu, Simbu looks like he has just come out of a scuffle or he is in distress. Though the makers did not reveal much about this project but the fans are very excited.
Simbu and Gautham Menon film Vendhu Thaninthathu Kaadu is bankrolled by Vels Film International and the music maestro AR Rahman is onboard as the music composer. Jeyamohan is the dialogues writer whereas Thamarai is penning the lyrics. Gautham Menon and Oscar award winning music composer AR Rahman have previously worked together in movies such as Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa and Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada.
In past, Gautham and Smibu have worked together for Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada and Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn.
On the otherside, Simbu n is currently working on the Venkat Prabhu directorial venture Maanaadu.
