We are talking about Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor, who took Rs 11 as her remuneration for biographical drama Bhaag Milka Bhaag which  was released in 2013. Farhan Akhtar played the titular role in Bhaag Milka Bhaag and Sonam Kapoor was seen in the supporting role. It was a blockbuster hit. The Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra directorial also starred Divya Dutta in key roles.

Farhan Akhtar starrer Bhaag Milka Bhaag is based on the life story of legendary Indian athlete Milka Singh.  Omprakash Mehra, the director of Bhaag Milka Bhaag revealed that Sonam Kapoor took Rs 11 as her remuneration to act in this film.

During the media interaction, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra revealed that Kapoor girl agreed to do ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ for Rs 11 only. They had first worked together in 2009 in Delhi 6  in which she shared the screen space with Abhishek Bachchan. Later Rakeysh Mehra decided to cast her in his next project ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag in 2013.

On the work front, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga fame Sonam Kapoor will be seen playing the female lead in Crime thriller drama Blind. directed by Shome Makhija and produced by Sujoy Ghosh, Hyunwoo Thomas Kim, Sachin Nahar, Avishek Ghosh, Pinkesh Nahar and Manish W.
