This is the first time stylish Star Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna are working together for a film Pushpa which is progressing at the brisk pace under the direction of Sukumar of Rangasthalam fame. The makers have officially confirmed that the movie will be released in two parts.
The first part of Pushpa will explore Allu Arjun’s exploits in the illegal trade, whereas the second part justifies his actions. Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna are playing the role of a couple in Pushpa. Though Bunny will be seen in the role of a red sanders smuggler whereas Rashmika Mandanna will be seen as a homemaker in Sukumar’ directorial venture.
The story of Pushpa is set in Chittoor village in Rayalaseema region. Both the lead actor have mastered Rayalaseema slang. Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil is playing the villain.
Few days ago, the makers announced that the first single from the film Pushpa: The Rise will be dropping online on 13th August. Titled Odu Odu Aadu, the song is sung by Benny Dayal with the lyrics are penned by Viveka. The music director of the film is Devi Sri Prasad. The background score is composed by the Oscar-winner Resul Pookutty. Pushpa-The Rise will be released in theatres on the occasion of Christmas in multiple languages.
