Bollywood star actor Akshay Kumar has once again becomes the highest tax payer in the country and he awarded Samman Patra by the income tax department. He earns a lot and then pays a lot of tax.
It was last reported that Akshay Kumar pays as much as Rs 29.5 crores in taxes, but it has increased over the years as before him was the Big B Amitabh Bachchan, who reportedly pays as high as Rs 77 crores in taxes. After Big B, it is Salman Khan, who pays Rs 44 crores.
Akshay Kumar is the most appearing actor in Bollywood, as he appears in at least 3 or 4 movies in a year. But recently, he unexpectedly faced huge debacles with Bachchan Panday and Samrat Prithviraj. However, the star actor is now going to be seen in his biggest upcoming projects like Raksha Bandhan, Ram Setu, Selfee, OMG 2, Hindi remake of Soorarai Potru, Capsule Gill and Kathputli.
As per reports, Akshay takes home as much as more than Rs 100 crores per film. As a consequence of disaster with Bachchan Panday, he has decided to take a pay cut for his forthcoming projects.
