Shruti Haasan, the daughter of versatile actor Kamal Haasan, has number of projects in her kitty and these are Salaar, Mega 154, and NBK 107. She is a popular actress, composer and playback singer who works in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada films. She sang her first song aged just six in her father’s Thevar Magan, a composition of Ilaiyaraaja. Currently she is sharing the screen space with Young Rebel Star Prabhas in action drama Salaar which is helmed by Prashanth Neel. Shruti Haasan has released a private song yesterday which is an ode to powerful stories of women across the globe.
On this occasion Prabhas congratulated his Salaar co-star Shruti Hassan on the launch of this new song. Prabhas took to his Instagram and posted a story complimenting Gabbar Singh lady.
The lyrics of the song is co-written by Shruti Haasan and she herself crooned the song. The song is currently available on Shruti’ youtube channel.
In addition to acting, Shruti Haasan is also an established playback singer. The beautiful actress has received nominations for the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer – Tamil for singing Kannazhaga Kaalazhaga in 3 and Yendi Yendi in Puli and the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer – Telugu for Junction Lo in Aagadu.
