Sri Reddy is one of the controversial Telugu actresses. She came into the limelight when she ditched her clothes in protest leading to her arrest for creating nuisance in public space. She alleged she has been denied membership in the Movie Artistes Association because of her casting couch allegations. She had also staged a semi-n…de protest outside the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad a few years ago. Currently she is enjoying a huge fan base.

Recently during an interview, once again Sri Reddy was asked, What is your real name? to which she replied, “My real name is Srilekha.” After saying this she laughed.
Sri Reddy started her career as a news reader and later she worked as VJ and hosted few entertainment event. When she joined a Bhakti channel, someone changed her name as Sri Reddy. According to Sri Reddy, Lekha was cut and ‘Reddy’ was added in her name.
