Young Rebel Star Prabhas is getting ready to start the shoot of his next upcoming flick Jaan, which will be helmed by Radha Krishna Kumar, who is a famous name in the film fraternity. The highly-anticipated period romantic drama Jaan is all set to resume shoot from the 18th of this month. Jaan is being made on the lavish budget of Rs 180 Cr. The sources close to the film unit revealed that Art directors and their team are erecting 25 lavish sets that recreate the 80s Europe, especially Italy, at Ramoji Film City for Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer. The makers are planning to complete the entire shoot in these sets.
Ever since Prabhas made his debut in the film industry in 2002, Prabhas has only hiked upwards on the graph of success. He has marked his name in the film industry with blockbusters like Varsham, Billa, Darling, Mr. Perfect, Saaho and Baahubali. His previous offering Saaho was an action thriller while Jaan is more inclined towards the genre of romantic drama. Set in the backdrop of 1970s Europe, the period drama shows Parbhas in the role of a palm reader. Even though the official announcement of the same is awaited, Prabhas’ role in Jaan has made us curious about the film. Pooja Hegde will play the role of a teacher in this romantic drama.
Jaan is said to be a classic tale of two timeless lovers set in the twilights of 1970’s Europe.
Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer Jaan are jointly bankrolled by Gopi Krishna Movies and UV Creations. The movie Jaan is being made simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. Sasha Chettri, popularly known as the Airtel 4G girl, is also the part of Prabhas starrer Jaan, and she is playing a pivotal role in the film. Bollywood composer Amit Trivedi is rendering the music of this film.
