Akkineni Nagarjuna invited Megastar Chiranjeevi as the chief guest for the ANR Award event, which was held yesterday. The ANR award was instituted by the Akkineni family in memory of Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Rekha, the daughter of Gemini Ganesan, was felicitated with the ANR Award for their accomplishments in the film industry.
King Nagarjuna became the host while giving awards at the ceremony and praised Sridevi for her contribution and their friendship. It is known the news that Sridevi was last seen playing a cameo in the 2018 film Zero starring Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan, which was released after her demise. She passed away on 24th February 2018. Boney Kapoor received the award. After giving the award to Boney Kapoor, Akkineni Nagarjuna shifted the conversation to Rekha and showered praise for her beauty. Nagarjuna asked Rekha about her beauty secret, to which the actress replied that she does the same what Nagarjuna does.
On this occasion, Nagarjuna expressed his desire to work with Rekha for a movie. After hearing this, Megastar Chiranjeevi took the mic and said that he wants to see Nagarjuna and Rekha as a pair in a movie, where Nagarjuna will make his screen presence in dual avatar.
On the other side, Rekha thanked ANR Family and praised ANR, NTR and Tollywood Cinema. The beautiful actress and daughter of Gemini Ganesan, Rekha shocked many by talking in Telugu.
Rekha is currently expecting the release of Bollywood movie Panipat this year. It is gearing up to hit the theaters on 6th December. Panipat is based on the Third Battle of Panipat, in which Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and Kriti Sanon are playing the lead roles. The movie is directed by Ashutosh Gowariker and is produced by Sunita Gowariker and Rohit Shelatkar under the banners of Ashutosh Gowariker Productions and Vision World Films.
