After delivering the action thriller Saaho, now Prabhas is getting ready to start the shoot of his next upcoming flick Jaan, which will be helmed by Radha Krishna Kumar. The film has Maharshi fame Pooja Hegde in the female lead role. From the past few days, there are rumors all the way that the Prabhas met some happening directors like Surender Reddy and Parasuram. But the sources close to Prabhas have refuted the rumor and termed it as non-existent meeting.
Following the release of Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, reports have emerged that director Surender Reddy will be teaming up with Prabhas. The reports also suggested that noted producer Dil Raju will be bankrolling this film under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations.
The director Parasuram who gave a blockbuster like ‘Geetha Govindam’ last year narrated a script to Prabhas. He tried to work with stylish Star Allu Arjun but that didn’t materialize. Later, he approached Mahesh Babu with a script which didn’t work out. Later Parasuram tried to impress Prabhas with his narration. But now Prabhas team has refuted the rumor of the actor’ meeting with Surender Reddy and Parasuram.
Few are also saying that Prabhas is not impressed with the story line narrated by Surender Reddy and Parasuram, so the team is not interested to talk about them.
Prabhas is currently busy with the KK Radha Krishna directorial venture Jaan, which is being bankrolled jointly by Gopi Krishna Movies and UV Creations and Chandrasekar Yeleti has penned the storyline. Amit Trivedi is on the board to compose the tunes for this flick with Manoj Pramahamsa handling the cinematography department. This is the first time, Prabhas will romance with Pooja Hegde in a film.
Earlier it was also heard that Prabhas is likely to work with Koratala Siva who is popular for delivering message oriented movies.
