If ongoing buzz in media and film industry is to be believed, Young Rebel star Prabhas will be seen playing a dual role in upcoming romantic entertainer Jaan, which is being helmed by Radha Krishna Kumar. Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava and Maharshi fame Pooja Hegde are on the board to play the love interest of Prabhas in this film. Prabhas will be seen essaying a dual role in Jaan and both the roles are completely different.
The sources close to the film unit revealed that Prabhas will make his screen presence in a dual role in Jaan. In one of the roles, he will be seen as father whereas, in the other role, Prabhas will make his screen presence as a son.
After the release of action thriller drama Saaho, directed by Sujeeeth, Mirchi and Baahubali star Prabahs is now concentrating on his upcoming film Jaan. It is said that he has already shot for 20 days and is expected to resume the shoot in the coming weeks.
Recently it was also heard that Prabhas has asked director Radha Krishna to make some changes to script, after the failure of Saaho. Prabhas is expected to undergo a strict fitness regime to reduce his some weight. After making considerable changes in the film’s script, the film will go on floors once again.
The story of Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer Jaan is set in 1970 and Prabhas is expected to be essaying the role of a fortune-teller whereas Pooja Hegde as a teacher.
Amit Trivedi is rendering the tune of this flick, with Manoj Paramahamsa handling the cinematography department. The film will be produced jointly by UV creations and Gopi Krishna movies. Jaan is jointly bankrolled by UV Creations and Gopi Krishna Movies. The makers are in plans to release this upcoming film during summer next year.
