If ongoing buzz in media and film circle, is to be believed, the storyline of Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja starrer upcoming film #RT66, is based on Tamil movie ‘Sethupathi’, which was released in 2016. Written and directed by SU Arun Kumar and produced by Shan Sutharsan under the banner of Vansan Movies.
Few are saying that the upcoming film of Ravi Teja’ #RT66, is actually a remake of Tamil movie ‘Sethupathi’ which was arrived at the theaters three years ago. The original Tamil film is all about the story of a police circle inspector whose reputation runs into trouble when a young suspect dies in his custody and threats from his enemies increase. The upcoming film of Ravi Teja starrer will be directed by Gopichand Malineni. Ravi Teja will be seen playing the role of a cop. Yesterday the makers released a new poster where Ravi Teja was seen holding a gun in cop avatar. By sharing this poster, the makers also revealed that that #RT66 will be launched on 14th November with a pooja ceremony.
Few people in the film industry are also saying that Ravi Teja and Gopichand Malineni’s upcoming project #RT66 is not a remake of Tamil film Sethupathi, it has the original storyline. The upcoming film #RT66 could be a freemake with that storyline and few changes to the script.
Shruti Haasan and Samuthirakani have joined the movie and the makers have also locked the music composer locked for the movie and he is Thaman. Shruti Haasan is making her comeback in Tollywood with Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and Gopichand Malineni’s cop thriller drama. Incidentally, Ravi Teja, Shruti Hassan, and Gopichand Malineni had earlier worked for Balupu in the year 2013.
It has also come out that Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has also been roped in this upcoming film of Ravi Teja’ RT66. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar herself has officially announced by sharing a poster on her twitter.
