It is known news that Telugu film actress Sri Reddy has revealed about the casting couch in film industries. She has levelled some serious allegations against film makers and the heroes. Other actresses from South Indian Film Industry have also come forward to speak about the se*ual harassment. Now this is the first time, Baahubali and Rudhramadevi fame Anushka Shetty opened up about the dark side of film industry- Casting couch. When Anushka Shetty was asked about the existence of casting couch in Tollywood, she replied, “I admitted that it exists in Telugu film Industry but I never had to face the casting couch because I was straight forward.”
Anushka Shetty added that she never gave a chance to anyone in film industry to exploit her. She further said that it is very wrong that someone expects such kind of return favors from an actress.
Nishabdham actress added, “I have always been straight forward and frank. Actress should decide whether they want the easy ways and less fame or harder ways and sustain for a long in the entertainment industry.”
On the work front, Anushka Shetty is waiting for the release of investigative thriller drama Nishabdham which has R Madhavan in the lead role.
