Megastar Chiranjeevi has stopped the shooting of his ongoing big budget and much hyped movie ‘Acharya’ following the advisory issued by governments.  It is known news that Telangana Chief Minister KCR asked the people to avoid large gatherings. This is a preventive measure to contain the spread of coronavirus.

Telangana Chief Minister KCR announced the immediate shut down of the movie theaters and other mass public gathering spots. On the other side, Megastar Chiranjeevi has just announced that he is stalling the shooting of his 152nd film which is being helmed by Koratala Siva and is bankrolled by Mega Power Star Ram Charan under the banner of Konidela Productions. Megastar Chiranjeevi also urged the people to be self responsible  and also asked the people to extend their co-operation to CM KCR in preventing the spread of the coronavirus.  Chiranjeevi also said, “I request all the film makers to postpone the shootings for another 10 to 15 days since shootings require manpower of 100 to 200 people.”

Furthermore, Chiranjeevi requested everyone to be more cautious. Telangana government has decided to close all schools, colleges, cinema theatres, clubs, bars, zoos, amusement centers starting from 15th March to 31st March. KCR announced these decisions after a Cabinet meeting on Saturday.
